Burn Ban in effect; Fireworks Prohibited

Because of the extreme drought conditions, high temperatures, high winds, and low chance of rainfall for the foreseeable future, Caddo County is under a Burn Ban that prohibits and establishes penalties for outdoor burning. Effective immediately, no outdoor burning of any kind is allowed within the county.

Fireworks of any kind, other than professional displays, are prohibited. While fireworks may continue to be sold, they may not be used until the ban is lifted.

Please refrain from any outdoor casino online burning, and please DO NOT ignite fireworks. The Carnegie Police and the Caddo County Sheriff will be enforcing the burn ban, which has up to a $500 fine and/or 1 year imprisonment for a violation.

Please IMMEDIATELY report any fires to the Carnegie Police at 580-654-1444.
