The Town of Carnegie operates a regional EMS/Ambulance service for the residents of the Town of Carnegie and the surrounding area. The Town contracts to provide services throughout the Mountain View-Gotebo EMS District, as well as the Town of Eakly. Kenneth Pack, EMT-Paramedic, is the director of the EMS Department.
The service area of our EMS department covers over 990 square miles of territory in Caddo, Washita, Comanche and Kiowa counties in southwest Oklahoma. We cover the towns and communities of Carnegie, Fort Cobb, Mountain View, Gotebo, Eakly, Albert (Oney), Alfalfa, Swan Lake, Crow’s Roost, Fly-Inn, Cowden, Cloud Chief, Cooperton, Lake Valley, Alden, Sedan, Hatchetville and Green Valley. Our service area also includes Fort Cobb Lake State Park and Lake Vanderwork near Gotebo.
The department is fully licensed with the State of Oklahoma Department of Health, and has professional, licensed Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics who are on-call 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.
If you are having a medical emergency, dial 911, or call the EMS dispatch directly at 580-654-1444. Dispatch is provided by the Carnegie Police Department primarily, but can also be provided by the Caddo County, Comanche County, Kiowa County or Washita County E911 Communications Centers.

How do I pay my bill?
- The EMS department now does all billing and collection services in-house. You can visit with our billing department in-person at Town Hall on Tuesday & Thursdays. You can also call during those days using Town Hall’s phone number, 580-654-1004. To mail payment, mail it to the following address:

Where are the offices for the EMS department?
- The Carnegie EMS office is located inside the Carnegie Fire Station, at 16 N. Carnegie St., Carnegie, OK. This is right next door (to the south) of the EMS building on Ash street. The EMS staff is usually available during normal business hours on weekdays at this location. Please note that the staff may not be at their office all of the time, as they may be on an emergency call or attending to other matters from time to time.
